Brief
To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Starbucks arrival to the UK, waf. London Agency were tasked to deliver a 2-day event as an opportunity for all partners to connect on the Starbucks mission and values, and commemorate this achievement together. I was tasked to create the animated Key Visual and to roll it out across all video assets at the event, spanning stage screen graphics, event welcome videos, information screens post-event wrap videos and more.
Delivery
We brought Illustrator Olivia Mill's illustration to life with motion, and translated this across al video assets in the event. The central theme of the Event ID was to illustrate the journey from bean to cup, and all the people involved in making it possible. key visual is not only rooted in coffee, humanity and the land, but also communicates a limitless vista beyond. But it is not the land that is limitless, rather the potential in people and possibilities.
The event received outstanding feedback: a 95% approval rating, 90% of attendees reporting the event met or exceeded their expectations, and 82% feeling a greater sense of belonging.

From scamp to illustration to motion to main stage ⏩
Watch our team’s process for the event ID of @starbucks Limitless Conference 2023 from initial conception to final execution. Our challenge was to illustrate the bean to cup journey, and to convey a sense of connection from partners in stores to those that grow the coffee on the land.
